HAND CASTING
- Activity: Participants will experience the tactile process of hand-casting, creating their own negative molds and using the choice of plaster or resin to cast their hands and create personalized sculptures.
- Expectations: Step by step instructions with all supplies provided. No prior art experience or skills required!
- Unique Aspect: This workshop allows participants to create tangible representations of themselves or loved ones, fostering connection and self-expression through sculpture.
- Duration: Will depend on the group size (between 1-4 hours).

- $170 per two hands (cast in resin | Painted in gold or bronze | wood base)
- $100 per two hands (cast in plaster | plaster base)

Photographic Cyanotype Printing
- Activity: Participants will experience the historic photographic cyanotype printing process that combines art and science. They will create their own unique photomontage using a variety of film negatives we provide. Using pre-sensitized 9″x 12″ heavyweight paper that we have prepared and UV light to create stunning blue tone prints.
- Expectations: Step by step instructions with all supplies provided. No prior art experience or skills required!
- Unique Aspect: This workshop offers a rare opportunity to learn and practice a vintage photographic technique, fostering creativity and appreciation for historical art forms.
- Duration: Will depend on the group size (between 1-3 hours).

Manual Screen Printing on T-Shirt
- Activity: Participants will learn and experience the basics of photo emulsion screen-printing, using manual techniques to transfer original designs onto blank t-shirts using fabric ink. Each participant will get to choose their own favorite design from various original design options that we provide.
- Expectations: Step by step instructions with all supplies provided. No prior art experience or skills required!
- Unique Aspect: This workshop offers a fun and interactive way to create custom apparel. Perfect for team uniforms or personalized gifts.
- Duration: Will depend on the group size (between 1-3 hours).

- $70 per person (Single color | Print on a tote bag or pillowcase that we provide)
Woodblock Printing for Textile Homeware
- Activity: Participants will explore the art of woodblock printing, using their choice of design from various hand carved woodblock options we provide to design and create custom patterns on textile homeware.
- Expectations: Step by step instructions with all supplies provided. No prior art experience or skills required!
- Unique Aspect: This workshop offers the opportunity to experience the rich tradition of printmaking as designs are transferred onto fabric, resulting in unique and functional homeware.
- Duration: Will depend on the group size (between 1-3 hours).

Jewelry Design with Polymer Clay
- Activity: Participants will learn techniques for working with polymer clay, shaping, sculpting, and baking the clay to create unique jewelry pieces. Each participant will craft a set of jewelry, comprising one pair of earrings and one pendant, using polymer clay and their chosen designs among a variety of pre-carved designs we provide.
- Expectations: Step by step instructions with all supplies provided. No prior art experience or skills required!
- Unique Aspect: This workshop offers a contemporary twist on jewelry-making, allowing participants to express their style and individuality through wearable art.
- Duration: Will depend on the group size (between 1-3 hours).

Lino Block Carving & Printing for Textile
- Activity: Participants will learn the art of Lino block carving and the techniques for printing their designs onto textiles. Each participant will carve a unique design into a Linoleum block that we provide and use it to print patterns on fabric. This hands-on workshop will guide participants through the entire process, from transferring the designs and carving their blocks to printing their designs onto a piece of fabric, such as a tote bag, decorative pillowcase, or scarf.
- Expectations: Step-by-step instructions with all supplies provided. No prior art experience or skills are required!
- Unique Aspect: This workshop offers a creative and modern approach to textile design, allowing participants to personalize their fabrics with unique, hand-carved prints.

I have taken a couple of classes with Sara and loved both of them. First I took the cyanotype workshop and have continued to make cyanotypes since then using what I learned from Sara. Then I took a silk screen photo emulsion intensive workshop. It was fantastic. Sara is a wonderful teacher and I look forward to taking more classes and workshops with her.
My partner and I took a cyanotype printing class with studio owner Sara, and it was the coolest experience! She was very kind and sweet and explained every step of the process in detail. I definitely recommend this place! I was able to incorporate a photo from an ultrasound of my baby & it meant so much to us.💖 This is a great way to be creative and do fun activities with people you love. Or solo! I cant wait to come back and do more cool projects here.
My sister and I had a great time making these unique Photographic Cyanotype pieces at Point Studio Art! Sara was so helpful and kind. I can’t wait to go back and try the screen printing and block printing!
We got to take the cyanotype printing class and it was so much fun! I was a little intimidated because I had never heard of it but Sara did a great job explaining things and making it a comfortable, exciting experience! She made us feel like true artists! Highly recommend checking it out!
Sara is an amazing person and teacher! She is vibrant and dedicated to her art and is so easy to talk to and learn from. I highly recommend taking one of her classes at Point Studio Art. Even those who may think they have no artistic skill will be very pleased with the piece they create! The last photo is in the darkroom!
